Nerf N-Strike Stampede ECS
Since it's fully automatic (and includes the first full auto Nerf Clip System) it fires off rounds really fast - at around the same rate as the Vulcan does. Yet it also has a great range - quite similar to the Longshot in that regard although certainly not as accurate. Because it's an automatic, you'll need batteries to power it - six size D batteries which aren't included in the pack. This may be an issue for some people who prefer the pump action (no battery) blasters, but seriously if you are after a fast action fully automatic nerf gun then you need to have some sort of power - so batteries are your best option. It uses the standard foam bullets that fit into all the other Nerf N-strike blasters which you probably already have a huge amount of (but if you don't you can always get more at Amazon or other toy stores). And this set comes with 60 darts. 60 darts isn't going to get you far though, and it will only take a few minutes for the entire round to be shot around the house. But isn't that half the fun watching a barrage of foam bullets get shot at your little office co-workers (come on you know the Stampede isn't just for kids don't you?). If you have more than one child, it's actually worth getting two of these (one for each of them) so that they can have a full-on Nerf battle. Make sure you get your video camera out when they battle it out because it's sometimes hilarious to watch (my son seems to think he's Rambo when it battles it out with his friends - it's soo funny). Overall the Nerf N-Strike Stampede is an awesome addition to the Nerf blasters and your kids (or you) will have a blast with it this Christmas. |
